The title, being the phonetic equivalent to “Annelise Braun”, is based on the vaporwave genre, which samples older music and slows it down. This track uses “California Dreaming” to create a both nostalgic and discomforting feeling, showcasing the awkward situation of a generation who feels more and more isolated by a technology which supposedly had to connect us all together.

The music video brings the previous thematic to another level, creating a discomforting yet pleasing imagery, merging the original video of “California Dreaming” and a 3D program tutorial.

The same day as the Article was passed, this song immortalizes that moment. Through DÖF’s song “Codo” and the actual audio footage from the European Parliament approving the mandate, it tells the sad story of the beginning of broad censorship on the internet.

The music video tells the story by using copyrighted material and hypothesizing on how much distortion we will need to add for being able to use them.
